The Deep River Science Academy and the Foundation for Student Science and Technology Partner to Develop Future STEM Leaders

The Deep River Science Academy (DRSA) and the Foundation for Student Science and Technology (FSST) today announce a collaboration to expand each other’s science outreach efforts by promoting events and programming.

The Deep River Science Academy is a national not-for-profit organization devoted to providing enrichment opportunities to high school students in the areas of science and technology with a focus on research and development. The Foundation for Student Science and Technology is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to developing the career potential of gifted high school, college and university students for leadership roles in the science community.

“We are very excited to work with DRSA’s who have several outstanding and innovative national programs; such as the Summer Science Immersion and Research Science Live,” said Peter D’Amico, Executive Director of FSST. “Teaming up with DRSA to promote and support each other’s efforts will allow both organizations to affect the career development of many more students.” The Foundation’s structured programs include the award-winning Journal of Student Science and Technology, the Student Science and Technology Online Research Co-op and more.
