The Foundation for Student Science and Technology (FSST) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS)

The HHS Bursary Program provides a 7-week internship for senior high schools students to become a research team member working in one of Hamilton’s internationally renowned research facilities at Hamilton Health Sciences, McMaster University, and St. Joseph’s Health Care Hamilton.

Both the Foundation for Student Science and Technology and the HHS Bursary Program aim to develop the scientific career potential of students, which has led to several opportunities for synergy. HHS students will be invited to submit their work for publication in the Journal of Student Science and Technology, allowing these students to refine their scientific communication skills and showcase their summer projects. There will be opportunities to promote both programs through collaboration at youth science outreach events and via social media.

FSST is enthusiastic about this new alliance and its potential to further our mission of building programs which provide learning opportunities for young students of science.
